The show must go on! Today's show with Mitchell Davis and tomorrow's show with Never Shout Never will be going on as planned. As of 3pm today (Saturday) the snow hasn't started sticking yet. We have a snow plow scheduled to make sure our street is clear at the beginning and end of each show, plently of salt and a few shovels. Please drive safely and we'll see you at the show.

On the morning of Wednesday, May 13, 2009, my dear friend and coworker, Christopher "Bmann" Brightman, was in a tragic car accident and passed away.
Chris was 23 years old, and many of you knew him from working our shows at School of Rock & Mexicali Live. He was someone that truly loved music and loved being a part of our concerts. Chris was such a cheerful and invigorating presence, always making those around him smile and enjoy our work together. He was a great friend who I could always count on in my times of need, and we will miss him greatly.
On Sunday, May 31st We will be holding a show in his honor featuring some of Chris's favorite bands that knew him well, with 100% of the proceeds going to pay for his funeral costs.
May 31st @ School of Rock: A Celebration of the life of Chris "Bmann" Brightman
Hit the Lights, Valencia, Red Light Green Light & Friends
100% of the proceeds will be going to the Brightman Family to assist in paying funeral costs.
All bands are playing free, staff will be working for free, the venue will not charging any rent, and ticketwb has waived their fees as well (except credit card processing, $0.38)

TicketWeb is cheaper than ticketmaster. Its now the same price for you to print your ticket yourself (at home) or get it mailed to you. The only downside is no more outlet sales. So for the 3% of you that bought tickets at an outlet in 2008, I apologize.

We are kickstarting our "Intimate & Unplugged" series on May 18 (School of Rock) & 20th (Canal Room) with BAYSIDE. The Intimate & Unplugged series will feature some of your favorite bands doing stripped down, acoustic sets. A very special guest is on the May 20th show at Canal Room - Vinnie Caruana (Singer of I am the Avalanche/ The Movielife) playing songs from
both bands!!
We're going to shoot to do a pair of these every month or so, and a lot of times it will only be announced a few weeks prior to the show, so keep your eyes peeled!

THE ALMOST is Aaron Gillespie, Underoath drummer/singer/songwriters' new full time band where he will be singing up front and getting out from behind the drum kit. He is one of the two singers in underoath and known more for his straight rock leanings. THE ALMOST is a fuller exploration of that musical direction and the new album will be released in April. ( and yes, he is still very much a full fledged member of Underoath.)
